New Sign At Terry's Office Tavern

In the midst of an economic downturn, Terry's Office Tavern unveils a shiny, new sign! I guess I probably should've known the very best club sandwich in Tacoma would be recession-proof. Not to mention takeout beer.. Who needs a grocery store?

Wanted: Tacoma Burgerville

Burgerville is being summoned to Tacoma. There is now a Facebook group dedicated to this. Our nearest edition of Burgerville is almost 50 miles south in Centralia. The News Tribune's Dan Voelpel interviewed Sarah Champion and Alicia Lawver about the possibility of Burgerville opening here. While they were both pro-BV, Voelpel disclosed that he would prefer to see a Sonic drive-in here instead. We'll see which one of the two is first to find their Destiny.

Sea Grill bar puts dry ice in some of the martinis. For that sensuous, bubbling laboratory date vibe, this is your spot. Unfortunately, there are no pictures to show for my experience, so you'll just have to go see it for yourself.
